Loïc Floch aka Fenx is a visual artist born and raised in Paris, France in the mid-70s. His work transcribes both his emotional, cultural and iconographic, often taken from the emerging subcultures in which he took part such as graffiti or skateboarding.
He questions the viewer on his favorite themes: the relationship between society and women, the trinity birth, death and rebirth as well as the part of childhood that remains in each of us.
Advocating the discourse allied with the return of the "beautiful", Fenx applies to a precise work in which he tries to eliminate any visual superfluity thus allowing the eye to retranscribe unconsciously the absent elements. From the first glance one can easily recognize his work even if he expresses himself in different styles, each keeping a link with the other both in the graphics and in the use of significant colors.
Loïc Le Floch aka Fenx est un artiste plasticien né au milieu des années 70. Son œuvre retranscrit à la fois son parcours émotionnel, culturel et iconographique puisant souvent dans les contre cultures naissantes auxquelles il a pris part telles le graffiti ou skateboard.
Il questionne le spectateur sur ses thèmes de prédilection : le rapport societal avec la femme, la trinité "naissance mort renaissance" ainsi que la part d enfance qui reste en chacun de nous.
Prônant le discours au retour de "esthétisme", Fenx s' applique à proposer un travail précis dans lequel il tente d' éliminer tout superflu visuel permettant ainsi à l' œil de retranscrire inconsciemment les éléments absents. Dès le premier regard on reconnaît facilement son travail même s' il s' exprime dans des variances différentes, chacune gardant un lien avec l' autre, tant dans dans le trait que dans l' emploi de couleurs significatives.
